Combat Systems Technicians EOI Early, Mid-career, Senior

The roles

The project requires qualified technicians who thrive under pressure and excel in complex integration environments. You will be a vital part of our Test and Commissioning Team ensuring the delivery of high-quality timely solutions that impact the performance of critical naval platforms.

These roles offer unique opportunities for professional growth and require individuals ready for challenging work both interstate and offshore.

We are looking for junior mid-career and senior technicians who possess domain expertise and are ready to contribute from day one.

• Qualified Technician: Certificate III or relevant experience in an Engineering Electronics Networking or related fields.
• Licences: Hold or be eligible to apply/receive relevant state licences (e.g. restricted electrical licence).
• Domain Knowledge: Relevant understanding knowledge and experience specific to engineering systems assemblies platforms and services with preference in one or more of the following capabilities:
  a) Underwater Sensors and Systems
  b) Communications Systems
  c) Above Water Sensors Systems
  d) Combat Management Systems
  e) Naval Weapons Systems
  f) Navigation Systems
  g) Networking switches and servers.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Confidently adjust to changing priorities identify underlying issues and actively contribute to system improvement initiatives.
• Operational Readiness: Available for deployment (interstate and offshore) to perform critical installation and maintenance tasks.
• Security: Eligible to hold or obtain a NV1 Security Clearance
• Autonomy & Efficiency: Capable of managing competing priorities under minimal supervision while consistently exceeding job requirements and meeting strict deadlines.
• Communication & Collaboration: Function confidently within a team communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and foster a spirit of co-operation.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills excellent written/verbal communication and intermediate MS Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint).
