The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to lead our payroll function with confidence accuracy and care. If you thrive in a complex environment enjoy leading people and improving systems then we want to hear from you.

To succeed you will need:

• Demonstrated experience in a complex payroll environment
• Manage and coordinate fortnightly organisational pay runs
• Contribute to the processing of payroll requests
• Investigate and problem solve high level payroll queries
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Sound reporting analytical evaluation and problem-solving skills
• Sound experience and ability to interpret multiple Enterprise agreements Payroll Taxation and superannuation rules and regulations
• Demonstrated capacity to plan and prioritise your work to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes
• Advanced computer literacy skills including experience in Chris21 ichris or similar payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills required
