The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as the Head of Construction & Commissioning North America where youll lead all site construction and commissioning activities for Grid Integration projects across the region. This strategic leadership role combines operational excellence safety and innovation to deliver projects that power a sustainable future.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Youll work in both office and field environments developing robust processes managing on-site execution and guiding high-performing teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. How Youll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain construction and commissioning processes tools and documentation.
- Prepare execution packages including commissioning plans and documentation sets.
- Act as the customer interface for construction and commissioning matters.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site activities to ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Monitor progress maintain accurate records and report daily site activities.
- Resolve technical challenges and collaborate on complex problem-solving.
- Manage resource allocation cost control and team development.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and project delivery.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- 10 years of experience in construction and commissioning leadership roles.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards technical processes and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel across North America as required.
