This position holds primary responsibility for the successful delivery of member engagement technical training curricula and all specialty core curricula within the Workforce Training (Member Engagement) department. The role provides mentoring development and support to designated team partnership with the supervisor this position assists with the assessment design delivery and evaluation of all core and specialty curricula ensuring alignment with the strategic goals business objectives and vision of the Union. The position is responsible for assessing the learning needs of the team members and training participants ensuring that the classroom and learning experiences support organizational priorities and reinforce the culture and employer-of-choice status. This role serves as an internal resource and collaborates closely with internal customers and departments at all levels to develop maintain and enhance a consistent and high-quality learning environment. Additionally the position maintains ongoing communication with business lines regarding daily operations and training initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Training: Support and facilitate member engagement training programs. Engage in cross-departmental interpersonal relationship building and collaboration to support identified needed areas of training including working in partnership with designated SMEs. Ensure effective utilization of learning practices. Ensure quality member service is provided to membership and internal staff increase productivity and ensure that member engagement aligns with corporate strategic goals. Work on special projects as needed for revision of department standards (for example researching various regulatory or investor guidelines and emerging industry standards / technology). Responsible for partnership with leadership for implementation of service delivery with the best interest of the employee members and credit union in mind. Maintains liaison with assigned key contacts of the credit union to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all training materials. Support the design development implementation and evaluation of training programs to meet the training needs of the organization and curricula for a variety of modalities including but not limited to in-person virtual and asynchronous learning experiences. Traveling will occur as necessary to support operations and initiatives.
- Team leadership & Development: Support the development of team goals and objectives. Coordinate team activities such as scheduling shift management and related administrative tasks in collaboration with leadership. Mentor new and existing team members providing guidance on career development and ongoing skill-building. Facilitate in-house training programs for Wings University to include WorkForce Development/Training using a variety of instructional materials including leaders guides participant materials job aids and software programs to facilitate job skills development. Uses adult learning principles along with strong facilitation skills to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment. Maintain and update new hire workbooks onboarding processes and team operations documentation. Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to support employee development. Partner with leadership to share observations on performance and assist in the development of performance-related feedback or follow-up when standards are not being met. Coach and support team members to help reinforce a sales and service culture. Assist in the onboarding of new hires as needed. Ensure consistency across training materials classroom engagement strategies and delivery methods. Collaborate with team members to maintain quality accuracy and alignment across all Workforce Training curricula. Keep leadership informed of daily operations training activities and any emerging needs within the team. Assist with interviewing and selecting new hires if needed.

Qualifications :
Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Organizational Leadership Business Administration Education (Adult Education or Training & Development) Workforce Development or Training and Development.
- REQUIRED: 4 years training and development teaching experience in either a school past job or corporate environment.
- REQUIRED: 4 years formal training experience in a corporate/collegiate level environment using adult learning techniques.
- PREFERRED: 1 years experience in a financial institution.
- PREFERRED:1 years management or leadership experience preferred
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning facilitation instructional design and development.
- High comfort level with public speaking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expertise in technical writing to include training manuals memoranda and proposals.
- Knowledge application and professional experience in adult learning theory methodology instructional design and training systems practices and techniques.
