AECOM Hunt is looking to grow our Digital Engineering team with the addition of a Data Engineer. This position will work in our Phoenix AZ office.
The Data Engineering Specialist will:
- Ensure data is accessible reliable and efficiently processed.
- Combine optimize and manage multiple big data sources.
- Create automated reporting systems.
- Provide software solutions that move data from its source to an internal database such as data warehouse/data lake.
- Implement data frameworks and/or architectures.
- Design develop and maintain data pipelines to enable strong data analysis and reporting
- Utilize a myriad of solutions to ensure problem resolution with data warehousing and data sources.
- Escalate unsolvable problems beyond individual knowledge and scope to senior level employees

- Proficiency in data programming languages
- Knowledge of data optimization tools data structures and architecting data warehousing solutions
- Knowledge of API (application programming interface) support to allow for data access/gathering/distribution data transformation and ELT (extract load transform)
- Utilization of algorithmic and statistical assessments data processing tools and approaches (including AI) in support of data consumption.
- Strong experience in creating resourceful dashboards which effectively represent data from various data streams such as using Power BI Tableau Looker or similar tools.
- Experience in data engineering BI or analytics development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and analytical databases.
- Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language).
- Familiarity with programs such as CMiC Workday Oracle Bridgit Bench SmartRecruiters Blue Beam Navisworks or other construction related software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
