Job Purpose:
The Error Management team within Global Service Operations is undergoing scope expansion as it was identified that many of the data governance and error management issues which are currently handled locally can be handled by a central team. This will allow the local team to focus on operational tasks and at the same time system issues can be tackled more strategically by the central team.
The data analyst would be taking over various error resolution tasks from the regional teams in this Senior role. They would be working as a specialist in data analysis and error identification and resolution for the Service Operations team for identified master data parameters. This resource would also be supporting the current error handling tasks owned by the Global Service Excellence Center.
Duties:
- Co-ordination with regional service teams for system issues understanding and resolution.
- Documentation of end-to-end process and resolution of service work order error handling.
- Perform transaction reconciliation between available systems (SAP SMS etc.)
- Driving system enhancements and process optimization as a part of preventive actions on system related issues.
- Data gathering and analysis of potential issues along with error management and documentation for identified problems.
- Monitoring master data quality in available systems.
Correction / maintenance of master data in available systems.
Qualifications :
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or higher. (Bachelors in engineering mathematics or statistics preferred).
- Ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in error management or data analytics.
- Computer literacy competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite Power-BI and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
- Knowledge of SAP system is a must.
- Language skills in English required.
Experience:
- 3 years experience in error management service operations or data analyst roles.
- Experience in using SAP and Data Analytics tools (Excel / Power-BI).
Exposure to SAP interfaces with other system (e.g. EDI).
Competencies and Abilities:
- Must be decisive driven and conscientious and interact well in a team environment.
- Possess excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and manage a wide range of activities.
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to handle stressful situations when working under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated reliable and accountable individual.
- The ability to make good judgments by thinking quickly and broadly.
- Must be organized and systematic.

- Able to prioritise tasks and take the initiative to meet internal customer expectations.
- Executing plans to deliver actions and longer-term objectives.
- Identifying and prioritising actions based on the business needs.
Ensuring all decisions are within the published Delegation of Authority.
Impact and Scope:
- Within Global Service Operations for ROW regions.
Key Internal and External Relationships:
- Partner closely with various Service Operations teams and divisions and the error handling team.
- Work with global service team engineers and back-office admin to resolve transactional errors.
- Work with Global Data Governance team and BIS team for master data and system related issues.
Work balance:
- Daily process and reconciliation activities: 50%
- Technical activities (design problem solving data analysis etc.): 30%
- Stakeholders engagement: 20%
