Job Summary

The Community Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director in Lead Hazard Control Department ensuring multiple cross-functional teams meet strategic planning-related timelines and deliverables effectively and efficiently. Selected candidate will track monitor and measure progress and outcomes. Coordinate and facilitate communications with stakeholders reports on activity.

Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:

1. Implement coordinate monitor and/or evaluate programs providing important community services.
2. Perform difficult work in the preparation of planning documents required for funding.
3. Prepares evaluation reports performs analyses and reviews program plans funding and performance.
4. Make recommendations on policies and procedures.
5. Provide authoritative interpretation of complex problems.
6. Provide technical assistance and training to subordinate staff in techniques of program implementation and management.
7. Collect and analyze a variety of complex data and collaboration with others performs statistical analysis and summarizes findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums.
8. Initiate project-related communication and requests for information and provides guidance to other departments and/or outside agencies.

Qualifications :

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in 1 above.
