We are looking to hire an Applications Engineering Intern for our Summer session.
This role would:
- Assist with the board design tasks and hardware support tasks of Renesas SOC products in the next generation of automotive and industrial end equipment.
- Hands-on support solving technical issues involving the use of Renesas SoC products.
- Collaborate internally with global engineering teams in product requirement analysis technical reviews benchmarking and troubleshooting efforts.
- Extend practical knowledge and experience in automotive/industrial technologies and the semiconductor industry regarding hardware design and support for in-vehicle infotainment cluster ADAS AI Edge computation and tools.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must be currently enrolled for in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering for a bachelors or higher degree. (candidate must not have graduated before September 2026)
- Strong ability to read interpret and create schematics based on component datasheets.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Linux.
- Knowledge of Altium (preferable) or other schematic/layout design tools.
- Knowledge of the Automobile industry preferable
- Excellent interpersonal skills are mandatory.
- Must be able to contribute as a team player with dynamic priorities and tasks.
- Passionate about new technologies and eager to apply academic knowledge to deal with real world problems.
