Job Summary
- Direct and monitor press crews ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Set up adjust and operate high-speed roll printing presses (flexo gravure etc.) mounting plates loading stock filling inks and configuring automated systems.
- Pull samples inspect for color registration density and imperfections making real-time adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical or quality issues; perform preventative maintenance cleaning oiling and minor repairs.
- Manage job tracking input settings maintain production logs and prepare for upcoming orders.
- Train new operators on equipment procedures and safety protocols.
- Enforce safety protocols participate in safety meetings and maintain a clean organized work area.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a press operator ideally with leadership or team lead responsibilities in a roll printing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude ability to read rulers/gauges understand digital file prep and operate printing software.
- Excellent attention to detail problem-solving communication leadership and ability to work under pressure.
- High school diploma/GED; vocational training in graphics or printing is beneficial.
Additional Information :
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $23.00 - $32.00 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
