We are currently looking for maintenance assistance to provide an efficient and effective maintenance service. On some occasions you will be required to attend quickly and effectively to emergencies during the working day.
What you will be doing:
Providing minor repairs and maintenance across any of the IHMS workstreams as required this could include lock changes to void garages void dwellings and communal cupboards including taking an inventory of items along with photographic evidence and providing this information to relevant department.
- Installation and removal of signage and key safes.
- Assisting other trade professionals with their duties when required within our customers homes and/or void properties.
- You will be accountable for: Delivering a service which understands the needs of our customers and delivers a positive outcome for them.
- Being professional courteous empathetic adaptable self-motivated take pride and ownership of your work able to resolve problems you encounter deliver a high-quality repair and provide an excellent customer experience every time.
- Adhering to all policies procedures processes controls systems required training and record keeping. Ensuring that we operate in a safe customer centric environmentally ethical and accountable way. Meeting and/or exceeding our performance targets understanding and mitigating risk.
- Attend all required training toolbox talks one to ones and appraisals embracing the opportunity for challenge personal growth and development.
- Ensuring that all company owned property is properly maintained cared for respected and always remains fit for purpose.
- Liaising and communicating with managers supervisors schedulers other colleagues and customers whilst undertaking your duties to ensure we deliver on our promises and provide our customers with a first-class repairs service.
Wed love to meet someone with:
- Basic IT skills
- Can demonstrate high levels of customer service in a customer facing role.
- Has good knowledge of Health and Safety in order to carry out inspections and checks and ensure all records are kept up to date.
- Has a professional and positive attitude and works well as part of a team.
- Ability to handle difficult and challenging situations.
- Please note a van and equipment will be provided; you therefore need a current valid UK driving licence.
