About the role
Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation located just outside of Muswellbrook provides a great opportunity for you to expand your skills. We are sourcing a qualified Heavy Vehicle/ Diesel mechanic to join the team to service and maintain the Medium Truck fleet LV service and maintain the in-pit water pumps and assist with Light Vehicle maintenance. This is a diverse role which will require maintenance on both the support mobile fleet and stationary water pumps. The role is located in Muswellbrook NSW working a 5/4 Lifestyle 12 hour Day Shift roster.
About you
Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar
OR Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
OR Certificate III Automotive Diesel Engine Technology
Post trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
Experience in general maintenance breakdowns light and medium vehicle fleets and large water pumps
