Tell Manufacturing an ASSA ABLOY brand is growing and we are looking for a Process Engineer II to join our team in Houston Texas. This is an on-site position supporting daily operations and continuous improvement efforts across our facility.

Come see who we are at: would you do as our Process Engineer II
Youll lead cost-reduction projects optimize manufacturing processes and provide technical leadership to ensure products are produced safely efficiently and at the highest quality. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues standardize processes and drive long-term operational performance.

You would also:

  • Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities across materials scrap labor and tooling
  • Support new product and process introductions ensuring smooth transitions into production
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
  • Monitor equipment performance and partner with Maintenance on repairs or upgrades
  • Champion lean principles and 5S standards across assigned areas
  • Manage mid-level capital and process improvement projects
  • Special assignments as assigned
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal state local and corporate policies regulations AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

The Skills and Experience You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects
  • Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and workflow design
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis software (MiniTab preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
