We are looking for aSeniorAdvisorShutdownLeadingPracticesto join and support our Operational ExcellenceShutdownTeam within the Pilbara Mines Operation. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for experienced personnel to lead coach and developshutdownplanners and execution teams ensuring work management processes are structured repeatable and aligned with bestpractices. You will play a key role in standardizing work development maintaining data integrity and optimizing work execution processes.
Youll work 8 days on 6 days off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to thePrincipal Fixed PlantShutdowns you will:
Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards policies and procedures
Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto bestpractices
Ensure all mining activities undertaken are in compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and RTIO standards and policies

Extensive experience inshutdownscheduling planning or project scheduling.
A strategic mindset with the ability to optimize schedules and align priorities.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for coaching planners schedulers and Shut execution leaders
Experience in critical path analysis schedule management and creative mindset that keeps all aspects of a safe and executable schedule in mind.
A proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across multi-disciplinary groups and align scheduling efforts with execution needs while fostering collaboration.
Coach and mentor teams on structuredshutdownramp-down and start-up execution.
Guide teams through permit management isolations washdowns and commissioning.
Develop and embed ramp-down bestpractices ensuringshutdowns exit safely and efficiently.
Act as a coaching leader helping teams troubleshoot and optimizeshutdowntransitions.
Coach site teams and contractors on bestpracticesin scoping planning and execution of Key Works.
Mentor teams on QA/QC frameworks ensuringshutdownreliability and execution excellence.
Ensure adherence to quality standards minimizing rework and maximizing performance.
Build strong partnerships with operational teams ensuring alignment betweenshutdownexecution and production ramp-up.
Work Management / Master Data to join our CentralisedShutdownDivision drivingshutdownplanning and master data excellence across our Pilbara operations.
