Your Purpose in this Role

We are one of the top premier Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Contractors in the state of Arizona. We are looking for growth-motivated and self-starting individuals who value efficiency reliability and family.

The Commercial Plumbing Estimator (Level 2) is responsible for developing accurate competitive and profitable estimates that support the award of $610 million in annual contracted work. This role independently manages bids while collaborating closely with Business Development and Operations to ensure scope clarity risk alignment and a seamless transition from estimate to execution.

Beyond estimating this position contributes to the companys long-term growth strategy by supporting consistent margins disciplined pursuit decisions and scalable estimating processes.

Pay

Based on skills experience performance and ongoing training attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed Plumbing estimates including labor material equipment subcontractors and general conditions.
Develop and deliver accurate timely estimates while keeping stakeholders abreast of status.
Independently manage assigned bids from opportunity review through final proposal submission.
Analyze drawings specifications and addenda to ensure complete and executable scope coverage.
Solicit evaluate and level vendor and subcontractor pricing.
Identify project risks constructability challenges and value-engineering opportunities.
Apply company estimating standards historical data and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with sales and operations to align pricing risk and execution plans.
Participate in scope reviews and turnover meetings to support strong project starts.
Maintain organized estimate documentation for awarded and lost work.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

37 years of commercial Plumbing estimating experience.
Demonstrated ability to independently support $6-10M in annual awarded work.
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and construction means and methods.
Experience with estimating and takeoff software (FastDUCT FastPIPE Bluebeam Bidtracer ect.)
Visionary mindset-able to think beyond the current bid and understand long-term impact.
Self-motivated and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
Thrives in a team-oriented culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Strong communication organization and analytical skills.
Leadership experience a plus.
