Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Testing Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive hardware verification plans and reliability protocols for new technologies ensuring thorough validation of electrical performance thermal stability and mechanical durability.

Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and impacts of hardware/component changes on existing systems proactively address design flaws.

Execution of Test Cases: Execute internal and lead external functional integration and stress testing to validate how new hardware components interact with the core system.

Defect Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and document defects or inconsistencies leading the root cause analysis efforts in collaboration with engineering teams to provide actionable hardware design refinements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering Product Management and External vendors to ensure seamless integration.

Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the development and refinement of testing methodologies; translate complex technical data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

5 years of experience in hardware testing ideally in digital signage or similar industries.

Experience with testing tools Proficiency with testing tools and management platforms Experience with automation platforms (e.g. LabVIEW) or firmware testing is a plus.

Proven track record in risk management with experience identifying and mitigating risks in hardware systems

Demonstrated experience in defect identification and resolution within complex hardware systems.

Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously identify issues in hardware systems ensuring thorough and precise testing to prevent defects in final products.

Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to assess complex systems analyze potential risks and make informed decisions to address issues proactively.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt testing processes and methodologies to support evolving technologies and changing project requirements.

Systematic Approach: Capability to develop and execute structured test plans ensuring comprehensive coverage of all system components and alignment with project objectives.

Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to clearly document test results report issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and ensure product quality.
