Responsibilities
Serve as HAI/AR Program Lead for data management including collection cleaning and summarization of data
Serve as HAI/AR Program Lead for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) with CDC internal and external partners for healthcare-associated infections multidrug-resistant organism and antimicrobial use and resistance module NHSN submission and data needs
Provide statistical analysis support for HAI/AR Program for internal and federal grant related projects
Assist with maintaining collaborative communications with healthcare facilities and local public health agencies regarding healthcare-associated infections and multidrug-resistant organisms within their facilities and jurisdictions
Assist healthcare facilities with the on-boarding of NHSN reporting as necessary

Master of Public Health
Communication skills
Required
Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with at least 2 years of relevant public health experience
Demonstrated proficiency in common statistical software platforms (R SAS etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills across a variety of audience types
Demonstrated proficiency in epidemiological techniques methods and surveillance with the ability to interpret and analyze epidemiological findings
Preferred
Concentration in either Epidemiology or Biostatistics
