Job Summary

Job Description:
A Manager of Purchase & Storeoversees procurement (sourcing negotiating buying) and store operations (inventory stock levels daily functions) to ensure cost-effective timely acquisition and availability of goods balancing budgets with business needs by managing suppliers internal teams (sales finance) and supply chain efficiency. Key duties include strategy vendor management inventory control order processing and reporting linking purchasing to overall company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy:Develop and implement strategies for buying managing budgets and analyzing market trends for cost savings.
  • Supplier Management:Identify evaluate negotiate with and build strong relationships with vendors ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Inventory & Store Operations:Monitor stock levels manage warehousing process purchase orders and ensure optimal product availability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work with sales finance and operations to align purchasing with business needs and forecasts.
  • Process Improvement:Analyze and improve purchasing processes implementing best practices and technology.
  • Reporting:Maintain accurate records and present inventory and purchasing reports to management.
