MEP Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage all Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) scopes for large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
• Coordinate design development constructability reviews and clash detection with design teams consultants and trade partners
• Oversee installation of critical systems including power distribution UPS generators switchgear chilled water CRAHs/CRACs fire protection and BMS/EPMS
• Manage MEP schedules phasing plans and work sequencing to align with overall project milestones and commissioning requirements
• Lead subcontractor procurement scope leveling contract administration and performance management
• Drive quality control QA/QC processes and compliance with mission-critical standards and specifications
• Monitor budgets cost forecasting change management and value engineering for MEP scopes
• Lead commissioning planning functional testing integrated systems testing (IST) and turnover documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards site logistics constraints and operational continuity requirements
• Coordinate owner training O&M manuals as-builts attic stock and closeout documentation
• Interface directly with owners operators AHJs and commissioning agents
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to redundancy resiliency and system reliability
• Support preconstruction activities including budgeting constructability input and trade engagement

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7 years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex commercial industrial or mission-critical projects (data centers strongly preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution systems mechanical cooling infrastructure and mission-critical redundancy architectures
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced high-reliability environments
• Experience with commissioning processes integrated testing and critical systems turnover
