Position Summary:
Security Guard Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. Duties range from doing lost and found to assisting with violent patients.
FLSA: Non-exempt
Essential Functions:
- Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Facilitates planned drills and simulations.
- Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Licenses & Certifications:
- Handle With Care within 90 days of hire/transfer
