Job Description:
This position aims to be responsible for the inspection and disclosure of the physical properties of materials and components to find possible corrosion cracks flaws and other imperfections which could affect their performance and reliability by using visual inspection and variant measurement means.
Conduct Technical Incoming Inspection for directly shipped aircraft parts.
Conduct Incoming Inspection for aircraft constituent assemblies upon WO and applicable reference and standard.
Conduct Incoming Inspection for aircraft equipment structural parts standard parts and consumable parts according to reasonable and necessary requirements.
Create clear and exploitable incoming inspection reports with regards to part release or non-conformance raise.
Operate relative system transactions for creation update attestation and closing including Material Movement Non-conformity process Work Order and Quality Lot process.
Manage the Scrapping process and provide support for handling unsalvageable flyable and A/C related items in FAL.
Handle Non-Conformity creation make quality assessments according to related documents and follow up including Problem Solving and Problem Resolution.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement.
Monitor all metrology/calibrated equipment/tools for periodic inspection recall and maintenance.
Support internal and external audits.
This role will require shift work; the candidate must accept a two-shift model and a three-shift model if necessary.
EDUCATION: with a College degree or above in aerospace and/or the equivalent major.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience in the industry domain and 1-2 years experience in the quality domain
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret drawings and validate dimensional measurements.
Good knowledge of engineering requirements and specifications.
Ability and competency to inspect and validate aircraft products using measurement tools.
Good knowledge of governing regulatory company policy and procedures.
Familiar with Quality Management Systems Quality procedures and processes.
Corrected visual acuity (CVA) grade is a minimum of 1.0
Technical tools: Good command of MS Office; SAP skill will be the ability and competency to inspect and validate aircraft product using measurement tools i.e. Vernier Calipers Micrometers and Feeler Gauges.
