Who You Will Work With:
This vacant FP&A Business Partner (8 month contract) role will report directly to the Leader FP&A Client Strategy & Marketing. The FP&A Business Partner will play a key role in financial planning activities working closely with business partners to support budgeting forecasting financial analysis and decision-making.
What You Will Do:
Support budgeting forecasting and business planning across the Strategy & Marketing and Client organizations.
Develop financial models and reports meeting with business teams to summarize financial trends and provide insight to the senior management team.
Lead monthly functional department reviews with business owners investigating variances to plan.
Implement process improvements in support of financial objectives.
Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
What You bring:
5 years of experience in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
A value-driven mindset with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.
Experience with large data sets producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas pivot tables and models.
A solid understanding of accounting principles particularly in relation to expense recognition.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.
Agility and adaptability comfort with ambiguity and a drive for continuous learning.
Eligibility to work for Interac Canada in a full-time capacity.
