Who You Will Work With:

This vacant FP&A Business Partner (8 month contract) role will report directly to the Leader FP&A Client Strategy & Marketing. The FP&A Business Partner will play a key role in financial planning activities working closely with business partners to support budgeting forecasting financial analysis and decision-making.

What You Will Do:

• Support budgeting forecasting and business planning across the Strategy & Marketing and Client organizations.

• Develop financial models and reports meeting with business teams to summarize financial trends and provide insight to the senior management team.

• Lead monthly functional department reviews with business owners investigating variances to plan.

• Implement process improvements in support of financial objectives.

• Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

What You bring:

• 5 years of experience in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.

• A value-driven mindset with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.

• Experience with large data sets producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas pivot tables and models.

• A solid understanding of accounting principles particularly in relation to expense recognition.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.

• Agility and adaptability comfort with ambiguity and a drive for continuous learning.

• Eligibility to work for Interac Canada in a full-time capacity.
