Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: TheWoodlands TX (Onsite or Hybrid)
Department: Shared Service Center / Finance & Accounting
Reports To: Director SSC
Position Summary:
Join Bilfingers finance team in TheWoodlands as a Senior Accountant. Youll manage full-cycle accounting responsibilitiesfrom general ledger maintenance and month-end/year-end close to financial reporting fixed assets and treasury activities. Dive into data analysis and help enhance our shared-service center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries including fixed assets depreciation intercompany and treasury postings.
- Maintain fixed asset register compliant with US GAAP IFRS & tax requirements.
- Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and cash management.
- Support internal & external audits and document SOPs and accounting procedures.
- Analyze ledger variances and deliver insights to management.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 57 years of corporate accounting experience preferably in industrial construction or services.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS familiarity preferred).
- Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
