Air Quality Consultant Industrial Emissions
Manchester
An established and growing environmental consultancy in Manchester is looking to appoint an Air Quality Consultant with a strong background in industrial emissions.
Im working exclusively with a well-regarded firm that delivers high-quality air quality and emissions services across a diverse range of industrial and commercial projects. Due to continued growth they are now seeking an experienced Consultant to strengthen their technical team.
The Role
Youll be involved in the delivery of air quality and industrial emissions work from project inception through to reporting supporting clients across sectors such as energy manufacturing waste and infrastructure. The role offers a strong mix of technical challenge and client exposure with genuine scope for progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Air quality impact assessments for industrial and regulated facilities
- Industrial emissions modelling and assessment (e.g. combustion plant process emissions)
- Use of dispersion models such as ADMS (or similar)
- Preparation of high-quality technical reports for planning and permitting
- Liaison with clients regulators and internal project teams
- Supporting junior staff where appropriate
About You
- Experience in air quality consultancy with a focus on industrial emissions
- Strong technical grounding in dispersion modelling and emissions assessment
- Familiarity with UK air quality guidance and environmental permitting
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Relevant degree (environmental science engineering or similar)
