About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza The Gresham Dublin as a Job Title. In this role you will be integral in briefly describe the core purpose of the role e.g. delivering exceptional guest experiences driving operational excellence or supporting key business functions. Youll leverage your expertise in mention a relevant area to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation.

What Youll Do

Riu Plaza The Gresham Hotel invite applications from experienced individuals for the role of Lobby Porter supporting the Front Office Team in the day to day operations of a very busy Front Office Department.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To maintain the standards of hygiene and cleanliness of the general hotel public areas & public toilets.

• To assist guests and clients with any queries they may have.

• To carry out Riu Hotels and Resorts customer relations policy.

• To pay close attention to all persons entering and leaving the premises.

• To provide a presence at the Front Door of the hotel

• To bring all tour luggage from bedroom floors to tour buses

• To do regular floor walks.

• To serve and remove Room Service orders when required

• To clear floors when required

• Periodically check and clean the toilets when required

• To assist when required with the storage of luggage

• To check all fire exits/ fire stairs and the hotel perimeter.

• To be familiar with licensing customs & excise requirements.

• To welcome guests and bring Luggage to guest bedrooms

• To ensure security of cash stock and equipment.

• To deal with lost property as per house policy.

• To report any suspicious activity to the Duty Manager immediately.

• To assist in the training of all new staff members.

• To be aware of and observe safety/security and report any breaches to your superior.

• To ensure reasonable care is taken for health and safety of self other employees customers and all persons on the premises.

• To ensure that all materials and equipment are in a safe condition to use.

• To report and where possible take action in incidents of accident fire loss or damage.

• To assist in the Accommodation Department when required.

• To check guests in and out

• To provide information to guests

What Were Looking For

A minimum of 1 years experience is required as a Kitchen Porter in order to be considered for this role the role also requires HACCP level 1 & 2 certification.

We are not in a position to support work permits for this role
