Job Summary

Profile of services - Global.
Internal and external relationships -
Internal relationships extend from the local team to the whole of IT.
Interaction with business and technology stakeholders including externalvendors and suppliers.
Executive & Stakeholder Management
Communication and engagement with Senior Management and other Executive
stakeholders effective verbal and report writing skills.
Compliance & Regulatory Management -
Management and contribution to any regulatory request relating to IT
Security globally.
Management of Direct and Indirect Reports
- People management and contribution to a positive work culture /
environment.
Financial Management Management of the
global departmental IT Security budget including purchasing review
& approval of expenses / purchases within delegated authority limits
and approved budgets etc.
Vendor/Supplier Management Liaison and
potential management of IT Security vendors consultants or suppliers.
Certifications Qualifications &

Technical Skills
Excellent Knowledge of
cybersecurity controls
Comprehensive understanding of
security in context of wider industry trends and direction
Strong knowledge and
demonstrated experience of common cybersecurity technologies such as; IDS /
IPS / HIPS Advanced Anti-malware prevention and analysis Firewalls
Proxies MSS etc.
Strong knowledge of common
network protocols such as TCP UDP DNS DHCP IPSEC HTTP etc. and network
protocol analysis suits.
Strong knowledge and technical
experience of 3rd party cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure and Google.
Strong understanding of
security concepts particularly network security
Knowledge of cryptographic key
management and associated solutions is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of common enterprise
technology infrastructure platforms middleware databases applications
and tooling including Windows Linux infrastructure management and
networking hardware is desirable but not essential
Ability to create detailed
reports documenting findings and recommendations

Wide range of cyber experience
across Cybersecurity Technology
Proven experience of successful
operational management utilizing relevant tools and techniques to ensure
consistent delivery
Demonstrable experience in IT
or Cyber Security pertinent to this role with minimum 2/3 years experience
Promoted and led best practice
in risk and compliance management in a similar organization
A track record of making
strategic business decisions considering relevant risks long term implications
commercial realities and stakeholders needs
Degree from an accredited
University or College in computer science information sciences engineering
information technology or allied subject.
Industry qualifications (CISSP
CISA CISM)
Experience of working in a
financial organization would be beneficial

regulated environment
