POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Manager will have the overall responsibility of optimizing productivity and sales at their assigned client account site. They will also ensure customer satisfaction continuous improvement of operations at their client location and compliance with company and government regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary from time to time.
- Interface with corporate and area staff to formulate short-term and long-term goals consistent with the companies financial and operational objectives.
- Provide overall direction and administration of their site-based operations.
- Will serve as EnviroVacs point of contact with client for all operational issues.
- Interface daily with customer contact.
- Maintain a problem-solving attitude and attempt to procure additional work.
- Manage assigned personnel equipment material and subcontractors. This includes administrative requirements new employee onboarding and maintaining proper inventory of all consumable and non-consumable supplies.
- Initiate corrective action for unsatisfactory performance in accordance with company processes and expectations.
- Ensure work performance is planned and coordinated according to schedule quality and budget objectives.
- Collaborate with assigned sales engineer with sales of EnviroVac service lines of business and suites of services.
- Maintain the project site in a safe and environmentally sound condition per DOT EPA and SA requirements.
- Direct the overall plan to meet schedule safety quality and budget objectives.
- Understand and effectively manage revenue equipment utilization labor rates costs and overtime.
- Actively participate in the customer feedback evaluation process
- Support and assist the sales engineer with work estimates/bids sampling and/r completing lead sheet information.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to use various office systems through adjusting connecting lifting pulling pushing bending or folding for the purpose of proper records development.
- Ability to use a computer and related devices throughout the day while seated.
- Walking and stair-climbing on client sites during daily service activity during the job-bid process and in support of actual client services being performed.
- Typical office environment client operations sites and travel to multiple customer sites.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma GED and/or equivalent work experience required. Bachelors degree in business finance engineering operations management or related field is desired.
- Previous Experience: Minimum 5 years management and job-related experience including operations sales or finance. Considerable experience working around manufacturing and construction sites requiring awareness of health and safety requirement is required. Prior experience in industrial cleaning services industry desired.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members communicate drive change while maintaining operation effectiveness and manage multiple projects.
- Working knowledge of current applicable industry regulations.
- Non-Exempted Interstate Class B CDL desired if not already possessed at time of appointment willingness to obtain within 6-months from hire.
