What youll own

Backend and infrastructure end-to-end for a core product area
Architecture and key technical decisions
Quality reliability and velocity of backend systems
Hiring and growing the backend team

What youll do

Design and build backend systems in Python
Ship production code continuously
Build AI-native workflows that interact with real enterprise systems
Work closely with founders product and customers
Make trade-offs under real constraints

Who this is for

6 years of backend engineering experience (Python-heavy)
Strong fundamentals and clear engineering judgment
Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership
Ex-founders or early-stage builders preferred
Uses AI tools heavily and understands whats happening under the hood
