The Role
We are looking for an experienced news-hungry reporter who loves telling peoples stories and breaking compelling original news in our Horsham bureau. For the successful candidate every day will be might be out on the road filming a TV story reporting live from bushfires producing a national digital story or reading and writing radio bulletins for the Breakfast program. All this alongside the regular police council and community rounds. With ABC Wimmera located in the heart of the Wimmera-Mallee the Grampians National Park and the Silo Art Trail at your doorstep theres ample opportunity to enjoy an exceptional quality of life outside the office. We are looking for someone who will go out and actively engage with the community and tell the most interesting stories. We are bold innovative and love trying new things. The Job
Under direction of the Editor ABC Wimmera & Mildura Swan Hill and in collaboration with colleagues you will be responsible for creating news content for multiple platforms engaging the diverse local and national audiences.
