Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to maintaining and growing the portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines account management excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to the clients. This position offers the flexibility of working onsite hybrid or remote for the right candidate.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50000 - $70000 annually based on experience
- 401(k): 6% matching
- Work Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Work Environment: Onsite hybrid (2 days remote 3 days in-office) or fully remote for highly qualified candidates
- Equipment Provided: Yes for remote candidates
- Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package available
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business valued at $1.4 million focusing on accounts with premiums of $100000 and under
- Handle renewals (85%) and new business quoting (15%)
- Perform tasks such as quoting renewals remarketing endorsements policy changes and issuing certificates of insurance
- Communicate effectively with clients via email and occasional inbound calls
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience with Epic software is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills attention to detail and integrity are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with small business accounts including generalist accounts surplus lines (30%) and standard lines (70%)
