THE ROLE

The Migrant Womens Support Program (MWSP) provides specialist domestic and family violence services and support to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women and their children.

The Case Manager Specialist CALD will work with CALD women and their children who are at risk of or experiencing domestic and family violence through the provision of specialised case management and crisis support responses. The Case manager position also provides statewide specialist consultation to DFV services working with CALD women and their children.

We are seeking to recruit a Case Manager Specialist on a part time (0.8FTE) fixed term basis until 30 June 2026.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position you will have significant experience in case management case work or crisis intervention in a domestic violence or closely related field working with migrant women & their children and refugees.

To succeed in these challenging and rewarding roles you will also need:

  • Hold or be studying towards a degree level qualification in Social Work or hold a tertiary degree in a related discipline with commensurate experience with the position;
  • Excellent knowledge of theoretical approaches and practice foundations applicable when working with CALD women and children experiencing domestic or family violence;
  • Experience providing support to women and their children to ensure their needs and identified understood & met through appropriate planning and referral and processes;
  • Experience in developing & maintaining relationships with government & non-government and community organisations.
  • Experience in managing electronic client records and strong attention to detail;
  • Understanding of risk assessments and safety management planning;
  • A current full drivers licence and be eligible for or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
