About the opportunity

The Senior Administration Officer plays a pivotal role within the School of Psychological Sciences; School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology; and discipline of Social Work ensuring teaching and learning objectives are met to ensure a positive experience for students.

The key purpose of the position is to provide seamless and proactive administrative support to a range of stakeholders with a focus on efficient lean and responsive support particularly in learning and teaching operations and employment administration.

What youll do:

  • Work collaboratively with academic and professional staff and students to ensure that consistent high-level learning and teaching operations.
  • Consult with and provide high level advice and guidance to staff and students on University and School policies and procedures.
  • Working closely with the Learning and Teaching Coordinator support activities associated with the Curriculum Management System.
  • Utilise University systems to collect and analyse data integrate information and produce and provide reports for use at School level.
  • Working closely with the School Coordinator proactively support activities including coordinating employment administration and student experience events.

What were looking for:

  • Extensive administrative experience and the ability to take responsibility for initiating developing implementing and evaluating administrative processes.
  • Experience in a University or similar environment and/or knowledge of University operations policies systems and procedures or a proven track record of adapting quickly within a complex organisation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Highly developed written and analytical skills along with the ability to extract and analyse information from multiple sources solve problems and think flexibly to develop solutions.
  • A history of successfully applying a growth mindset and of positive contribution to a culture of team and individual excellence.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105665 comprising base salary within the range of $80869 to $90312 plus 17% superannuation.
