Job Summary

SUMMARY

Installs modifies and makes minor repairs to technology hardware to include desktops laptops chromebooks printers and other various devices. Provides technical assistance and training to system users by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Install personal computers and configure hardware and software

-Install and configure peripherals and multimedia devices

-Provide troubleshooting function for electronic devices

-Provide for repair and preventative maintenance

-Provide for user instruction on operation and software

-Provide training of various software applications

-Assist in network setup and administration

-Provide assistance to various other technology staff as needed and

-Other assignments as deemed necessary by the Superintendent.

EMPLOYMENT:

8:00 am to 4:00 pm 260 days per year Technology Technician salary schedule.
