The opportunity

The General Ledger Senior Associate supports accuracy performing reconciliations and assisting with month-end close this role you analyse financial results perform variance and cost reviews and help identify the root causes of differences. You contribute to improving data quality by highlighting issues suggesting corrections and working with the team to resolve them. This position provides consistent support to the broader finance team by ensuring timely well-prepared financial information and maintaining strong accounting processes. We seek an enthusiastic team-oriented colleague with strong interpersonal skills.

Your key responsibilities

• Preparing supporting schedules and account reconciliations on balance sheet and income statement line items
• Performing variance analysis and providing commentary on key movements in P&L and balance sheet
• Posting journal entries (accruals provisions reclassifications)
• Reviewing ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Intercompany reconciliation and booking
• Performing Month-End activities
• Ensuring data integrity in the financial accounting system
• Providing financial insights and support to business partners
• Posting recurring and ad-hoc GL journal entries with proper documentation and controls
• Adhering to accounting standards and working in compliance with country regulations
• Collaborate and work with other teams such as AP AR external GL Team
• Accounting procedure development and documentation (SOP)

Skills and attributes for success

• Good command of the English language both written and spoken
• Proactive motivated and open to communication
• Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team or on their own initiative
• Eagerness to learn quickly

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• Experience in Finance & Accounting processes especially GL process
• Good Excel skills
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts

Ideally youll also have

• Exposure to Power BI or any other visualization tools
