Job Summary

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions ensuring that all legal requirements are met and that the process runs smoothly from start to finish. The Conveyancer will work closely with clients real estate agents and other professionals to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the outcome of the transaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the legal aspects of property transactions including drafting and reviewing contracts conducting title searches and preparing legal documents;
  • Liaise with clients real estate agents and other professionals to ensure that all parties are informed and satisfied with the progress of the transaction;
  • Ensure that all legal requirements are met including compliance with relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process;
  • Manage the financial aspects of the transaction including the transfer of funds and the payment of fees and taxes;
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure that all documentation is filed appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Conveyancing;
  • Relevant professional certification or accreditation;
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in conveyancing or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures;
  • Experience with interstate conveyance desireable;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
