We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our growing service team here at Lou Fusz Chevrolet in St. Peters. This position offers a stable career path competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a supportive team-oriented environment.
This is a union position that is governed by the District No. 9 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers A.F.L. - C.I.O.:

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- ASE certifications are ideal
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must have clean & valid drivers license
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
