Civmec is proud to be delivering the Civil works for a major project in BHPs Nelson Point facility in Port Hedland WA. The scope encompasses Civil and Structural works associated with the new Car Dumper 6 and other civil facilities required as part of the overall Port Debottlenecking Project phase 2 (PDP2). We are seeking an organised proactive and solutions focused Site Administrator to support our project team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of this largescale project.
In this role you will provide essential administrative support across daily site activities. You will work closely with project leaders subcontractors and site personnel to manage documentation coordinate logistics maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with project and company processes. Your attention to detail strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment will be key to your success.
This position operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth with the project expected to run for approximately 18 months.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly time sheets and submit to payroll
- Maintain accurate personnel training & compliance records
- Mobilise and demobilise all personnel arriving to and leaving from site
- Maintain and manage registers
- Ensure maintenance and upgrade of project data and statistics
- Ensure maintenance of inspection and testing documentation
- Assist in the compilation of MDRs
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction or heavy industry projects
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- A commitment to safety integrity and teamwork
- Ability to communicate with a range of key stakeholders and key role members
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in remote environments
- Experience with systems & Microsoft suite
