Shift: Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70 $78 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and uphold professional nursing standards in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Ability to perform own phlebotomy and IV insertion
Travel experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts RN License
BLS certification required
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
Administer medications safely and assess patient responses
Provide patient and family education
Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
Manage IV therapy chest drainage devices and epidural analgesia
Care for post-operative orthopedic and medically complex patients
Recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect per policy
Respond effectively in emergency and urgent situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Adhere to all departmental facility and regulatory standards
