Job Details
This is a temporary position to fill a teacher leave. The successful candidate will be a specialist in teaching writing and reading comprehension. Class sizes range from 24-28 students. The successful candidate may be considered for other probationary positions for the 2026-2027 school year.

General Qualifications
Bachelor of Education Degree from an accredited institution
Current Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent)
Successful teaching experience in junior or senior high school
Experience in a homeroom environment would be beneficial
Experience teaching grade 9 would be beneficial but not required
Supporting Documentation Required
Cover letter including vision of improving student learning
Resume listing specific courses taught
Recent performance review
Copy of Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent) - required. Applicants without a teaching certificate will not be considered
A Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months) will be required for the successful candidate before starting.
