Job Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to students in a hospital-based educational setting. This role focuses on addressing the emotional social and academic needs of students and collaborating with families educators and healthcare providers to promote positive outcomes.

Essential Functions
-Conduct assessments to identify students emotional social and academic needs.
-Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students facing challenges.
-Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with mental health issues trauma or behavioral concerns.
-Utilize evidence-based practices to promote resilience and coping skills.
-Respond to crises involving students providing immediate support and coordination with emergency services as needed.
-Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and well-being during crises.
Education
Masters Degree Social Work required

Social Worker Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - State License - Generic - HR Only required
Experience
Experience in social work mental health counseling or a related field 2-3 years required and Experience working in educational institutions or a similar setting 0-1 year preferred

- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development mental health issues and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Compassionate and empathetic with a strong commitment to supporting student well-being.
