Production Supervisor Afternoon Shift

Were seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to take charge of our Afternoon shift and help us grow to the future.  This shift runs from 3pm to 11.30pm Monday to Friday.

Youll be responsible for approximately 30 staff across two departments making timely decisions to keep production running smoothly. This is not an office-based or management-only role youll be on the floor solving problems and leading from the front.   Key Responsibilities include;

• Lead develop and motivate 30 staff across our Assembly and Processing departments
• Take sole charge of site operations on the afternoon shift ensuring safety quality and production targets are met.
• Resolve production issues providing hands-on mechanical support to minimise downtime.
• Make timely decisions to keep production running including spend on R&M
• Manage workloads absenteeism and ensure appropriate staff training & development
• Use data and reports to drive productivity reduce waste and improve process.

Qualifications :

Youll bring at least five years manufacturing / engineering experience along with proven leadership skills. Alternatively we are also open to candidates who are ready to step into leading a larger team and will provide training and development to support your leadership progression.

Formal qualification in a hands-on trade such as Engineering and / or proven experience in maintaining troubleshooting and fixing machinery.
