Senior Fire Protection Discipline Engineer (15+ years)

We are seeking a dynamic innovative and quality-oriented individual with an interest in consulting engineering to join our team as a Senior Fire Protection Discipline Engineer with 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated team player looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. 

We are looking for a leader who works effectively with all personality types is interested in developing close relationships with our great clients and who desires to grow professionally. The position involves a mix of technical design and consulting construction support and new project scoping and proposal writing. We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and support a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person.  

Qualifications :

•  Bachelors degree (B.S.) in engineering from accredited college or university
  • Fire Protection specific degree preferred but not required
• Fire Protection License by examination issued by any state in the United States
• Minimum of 15 years working experience in the Fire Protection profession
• Travel is required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including oral presentation skills

Duties and Skills:

• Managing day-to-day contacts with internal and external clients while utilizing experience and technology to meet expectations
• Developing new clients and business
• Performing analysis of existing fire protection systems as well as designing new fire protection systems including suppression systems fire detection alarm and mass notification systems
• Performing building and fire code analysis and interpretation
• Performing research and documenting for internal and external distribution
• Building and fire code analysis and interpretation
• Project management skills for managing internal projects and staff as well as external client needs

Expected annual salary: $150000.00 to $159000.00
