Job Summary

The Data Engineer provides technical expertise to Cielos analytics solutions. They will bring solid expertise in emerging technologies such as Snowflake & Airflow data transformation tools in a cloud environment. They will develop multi-purpose data applications built in Snowflake & Python focusing on the ETL layer but not creating the reports or dashboards. The Data Engineer will help build global analytics solutions to drive the next generation of recruiting. They will interface with multiple levels of administrative support staff and Cielo client teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop test implement and document technical engineering solutions to assist business partners self-service analytic needs.

- Work on project teams consisting of business partners architects and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of analytical systems and determine priority of needs.

- Assist in efforts to analyze define design and document requirements for data workflow logical processes hardware and operating system environment.

- Work under broad direction and be fully accountable for own technical work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. Receive assignments in the form of objectives. Establish own milestones and team objectives. Work is often self-initiated.

- Champion technology internally across clients fostering knowledge and optimization of technology to raise the bar throughout the organization with entrepreneurial spirit to build new solutions and drive organizational change.

Qualifications :

Education:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- Or Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience:

- At least two years of results-oriented experience in cloud-based analytics platforms is preferred (AWS or Azure)

- At least two years of experience with SQL on any major RDBMS. (MS SQL Snowflake Postgres)

- At least two years of experience developing ETL or ELT solutions working with diverse data sources.

Functional/Technical Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:

- Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools.

- Proficiency in Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Outlook Internet and other related software.
