We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Prisma Access team. Your Impact 

• Design develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access

• Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve best in quality software

• Suggest and implement improvements to the development process

• Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues

• Interview mentor and coach new team members 

Qualifications :

Your Experience

• Excellent programming skills in Golang or Java 

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS Azure GCP Kubernetes and their technologies (Lambda functions SNS/SQS etc.)

• Experience with databases SQL NoSQL is highly desirable

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in the full software development life cycle including coding - standards code reviews source control management build processes testing peer review and operations

• Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude

• High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Fast learner independent and eager to absorb new emerging technologies 

• Must be in the SF Bay area to be onsite.

Education:  

• M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $100000 - $130000/YR.
