SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Deal Processing Clerk receives each deal to ensure that all necessary documentation is included. The deal is then broken down and processed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Inputs deal information into the computer.
  • Prints state and insurance paperwork.
  • Ensures customer signs all required paperwork.
  • Reconciles and submits warranties and insurances to proper facility bank etc.
  • After deal is bought by a financial institution the deal is returned for proper processing.
  • Process paperwork to be forwarded to Title Clerk.
  • Process paperwork to be forwarded to Billing.
  • Make copies of paperwork and distribute to the proper individual(s).
  • Prepare and process all bank papers to be sent overnight/mail.
  • Make follow-up calls to banks when necessary.
  • Obtain information required to complete funding process if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED AND DESIRED:

Required:

  • High School diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desired:

  • Computer/Data entry skills. Microsoft Excel proficient. Customer-related experience.

TIME REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

  • 8:00-4:30
  • Monday Friday
  • Occasional overtime may be required
