Job Summary
Fairmont Gold Captain
At Fairmont Chateau Whistler unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold our exclusive hotel within a hotel experience. As Fairmont Gold Captain you will bring our exceptional Fairmont Gold standards to life.
This is a full-time permanent position beginning Summer 2026.
Starting rate of pay: $24.55 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.10.
Job Duties Include:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Lead service in the Fairmont Gold Lounge and ensure menu and food presentation is in keeping with Fairmont Gold standards
- Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Provide exceptional information to our Guests about local and area attractions
Qualifications :
- Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safe Certification is required
- Serving It Right Qualification Required
