As a Civil Engineer at Engeny you will focus on delivering comprehensive civil design work for civil projects locally in WA with an opportunity to support and work on projects nationally. With a strong pipeline of projects in hand were excited to be growing our Perth team in 2026!
You will be responsible for
- Delivery and coordination of projects and proposals with the potential for both office and site-based works.
- Contribute to detailed design plans whilst working closely with drafters and project managers.
- Coordinate the production and revision of Engineering designs by liaising with internal Design teams.
- Prepare project deliverables tender documentation design documentation technical reports BOQs cost estimates and specifications to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
- Assume responsibility for project planning and management of resources for small projects or parts of larger projects.
- Supporting the well-being development and resourcing of team members.
- Participating in client management and business development.
- Playing an active role in the business groups through regular meetings workshops training and business planning.
Qualifications :
Ideally you will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment servicing local authorities/councils across addition you will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in 12D Excel and QGIS
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to roads earthworks drainage water management design and general civil works
- Demonstrated experience supporting local and state government projects
- Demonstrated project management and delivery experience for small to medium projects across full life cycle
- Experience working within the resources and/or renewable energy sectors highly desired
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
