- Responsible for accurate costing for farming and packing operations
- Perform cost analysis and reporting for farming and packing operations
- Monitor and analyse inventory variances production inefficiencies and wastage
- Product costing and inventory reporting and maintenance
- Management of inventory
- Collaborate with the production and finance teams to develop and implement cost control measures
- Support the budgeting process and financial planning
- Daily and weekly productivity reporting
- Assist with implementation of new systems
- General support to the financial manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA SAIPA SAICA) preferred.
- Proven 2 3 years experience in cost and management accounting preferably in the agriculture or farming sector.
