The role

We are looking for a Site Inspector Highways for a Roads and Highways project based in Uthal Balochistan Pakistan. The candidate must have experience in field inspection and testing of highway works including pavements embankments and bridges to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations on-site.
  • Report any non-conformance or safety hazards to the Resident Engineer promptly.
  • Assist in daily site progress monitoring and prepare field observation notes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors to clarify technical specifications.
  • Support material approval processes including sampling and verification.
  • Participate in site meetings and provide updates on field activities to the Resident Engineer.

With a track record of achievement in a related role you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

  • Tertiary qualifications Bachelors in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in highway construction and testing.
  • Knowledge of field-testing procedures for embankment pavement and asphalt works.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical specifications and project requirements.
