Small Bird CDL Driver

Full Time - Hourly

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $24.25 - $34.00 per hour and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate would safely and effectively load/deliver poults from the brooder farms to the grower farms pull trailers haul heavy equipment and assist with regular farm support tasks.
Help crew load birds occasionally (less than 40% of the time)
Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a current Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with no restrictions & current DOT medical exam certificate

Must be at least 21 years of age.
At least one year of professional driving experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
No more than 1 moving violation in last 12 months or no more than 2 moving violations in last 36 months.
No DWI offenses in last 12 months or no more than 1 DWI offense in last 36 months
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to follow bio security guidelines.
Ability to work a varied schedule (to include evenings and weekends)
