Key job responsibilities
Integrate Innovative Technologies: Lead system-level engineering efforts seamlessly combining multiple technological components into cohesive high-performance products.
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with hardware software and mechanical engineering teams to develop comprehensive innovative solutions
Solve Complex Technical Challenges: Diagnose and resolve intricate design and manufacturing issues with precision and creativity
Validate and Optimize Performance: Design test and validate system boards to ensure exceptional product quality and performance
Support Global Engineering Initiatives: Contribute to international engineering builds and support global product development efforts

- 3 years of hardware design and validation of components subsystems and systems experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering material science physics or equivalent
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
